The Eastern Gray Squirrel is also know as the Gray Squirrel. One strange thing about the Eastern Gray Squirrel is that they don’t hibernate, even though they burry food for winter. Squirrels use spacial memory to find nuts they burry for winter. Squirrels have four flexible toes on their front feet and five flexible toes on their rear feet to make them excellent climbers. Squirrels can also swim when they have to, but it is not their preferred method of travel. Squirrels are also considered very intelligent and have a good ability to solve problems, like getting into your bird feeders. (Larger sizes available upon request)
