137 Common Gallinule

A striking gray bird with a red shield on its head and a yellow tip o its beak. They make a lot of noise and they make really ugly little Common Gallinules. Their feet are very interesting as they look like normal bird feet, until they stand, then you can see a flap on either side of their toe that opens and gives them more stability and the ability to walk on lily pads and other aquatic plants. This one has decided to munch on a few Water Hyacinth blooms.
